About:

The Children of the couple requested their parents Marriage Photos as Aquarells (Watercolour Illustrations) in my very own style. Here we go!

Loved the challenge of transferring old, yellowed, dark Fotos… but it admitably took quite long in the end. ^_^

About:

This as the first Commision I did entirely with Waterbrushes and Brushpens.

For this Illustration of a Boxer Female I earned one of the best Rewards I ever got, her Owner had Tears in his Eyes upon first seeing it.

In 2007/2008 my Father and I started working mainly with Waterbrushes.
Layout Markers make wodnerful renderings, but it’s hard to NOT have a clean and nice Layout, but to achieve realistic Textures like Fur. And Markers are expensive in Holding and not the most versatile, considering you need special Papers and can rarely work while outside.

Changed from “only synthetic” Brushpens to my first real Sable ones. I still like the Pentel, buy…. oh boy…. do the Kuretake-Brushed make a Difference! All worth every Cent.
